Bienvenidos!
Welcome to our little niche in cyberspace. We are here to serve your spiritual needs as you plow along in your efforts to earn that degree. You are invited to take advantage of the many opportunities provided to deepen your relationship with God, through Christ in the Church. This relationship is fostered through personal prayer, communal prayer, and shared experience of God’s great presence in each other’s lives. We believe this experience of God’s loving presence can be found in a passage of Scripture, in contemplative meditation during a prayer service, in conversation, at an Aggie sporting event, during an intramural game, in service of others, and in short any aspect of your life as a student at NMSU. It is the awareness of this awesome presence that we hope to foster in students. The highlight of our week is our Sunday liturgy, specifically the 7:30p Mass, where we gather at the table of our Lord to celebrate the good news of Jesus’ real presence in our lives. What else can be said, other than: Come! make St. Albert’s Newman Center your spiritual home away form home.
May the peace and love of Christ be with you!

Our Mission:
St. Albert's Newman Center provides Catholic formation and a community of hospitality to the students, faculty, and staff at New Mexico State University. The Newman Center strives - through education, service, and worship - to form students intellectually, morally, socially, and spiritually according to the wisdom of the Catholic Church, so that they may be empowered by the Spirit to enliven the Church and bear witness of Christ on the campus of New Mexico State University.

Upcoming Events:
• Mid-Week Mass and Dinner
Join us for some mid-week nourishment to help get over the hump! Mass begins at 5:30p and a fabulous student prepared dinner is served after Mass.
• Catholic 411 - Is That Your Answer?
Practical Ways to Make Major Life Decisions
The college years bring us to a point of major life decisions. These are the years where decisions are made that have huge influences on our future. Come join us as we learn to discern common decisions such as major, career path and relationships. Discussion will be on Thursday, April 26 at Newman in the Alumni room from 7 to 8pm.
• Parish Sock Hop
Put on your poodle skirts and cuff your jeans, because Newman Catholic Students will be hosting a parish-wide Sock Hop on Saturday, April 28th at 7:30pm. Join us for an evening of hula hooping, bubble gum blowing, cake walking and dancing fun! Prizes will be awarded for creative costumes, so just go wild. We're in need of any volunteers willing to assist with decorations, refreshments, or soda jerking. Contact Sal or Jo Anna at the campus ministry office or at ncstudents@yahoo.com. Music will be provided by DJ Reyne Roman.
• May Service Tip
"If you want peace, work for justice." As Pope Paul VI reminds us, the state of the world is something we CAN change. This is why Newman students will join with UTEP students the week of May 14-18 (yes, school's out) to build up the Body of Christ in service. We will spend time on both sides of the border, working in Hatch, NM (to help repair flood damage) and in Juarez. We will also spend a day with members of Annunciation House in El Paso learning about the complexity of border issues. We will be staying at St. Luke's in La Union where we will reflect on the experience, eat and sleep. There is no fee for the week. If you are interested, please call or email the campus ministry office.

If you would like further information about any of our activities, please contact the Campus Ministry Office @ campusministry@qwest.net or 522-6202 and ask for SAl or JoAnna.
